Psychology is a science that studies human behaviors and experiences as an individual and a group member, as well as the mental and psychological processes that follow. In the Faculty of Psychology, students learn psychological theories and practices with a purpose of helping people solve their problems and achieve self-actualization.

Learning psychology is a combination of science and art that creates an amazing experience. Various psychological areas of interest are: Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Social Psychology, Developmental Psychology, and Educational Psychology.

Using the experiential learning method, students will experience each course with, not only the usual lecturing model, but also other interactive and creative learning models, role play, discussions, practical work, creative project arrangements, poster presentations, film screenings, study tours, and seminars from local and foreign practitioners in the field. - Industrial and Organizational Psychology
Students can work as HR staff or manager, organization development consultant, trainer, consumer behavior consultant or researcher. Graduates from Faculty of Psychology in this area of interest are already working in Astra LLC, Djarum LLC, Pakuwon Jati LLC, Tjiwi Kimia LLC, Wing Surya LLC, RCTI, Trans TV, BII, Niaga Bank, Panin Bank, OCBC NISCP Bank, Shangri-La Hotel, Mercure Hotel, JW Mariott Hotel, etc.
- Social Psychology
Students can work at social institutions or other institutions that handle social welfare (such as the police department, rehabilitational facilities, etc), social service agency, children rehabilitation agency, non-governmental organization. Graduates from the Faculty of Psychology in this area are already working in RI-Perth Australia Consulate, United Nations Fund for Population (UNFP) Aceh, Wahana Visi (an NGO), etc.
- Clinical Psychology
Students can work as therapist assistance in counseling institutions, general hospitals, psychiatric hospitals, health centers, etc. Graduates from the Faculty of Psychology in this area of interest are already working in Psychology Service Centre that is part of WMCUS, Smart Kid Surabaya, Palliative Volunteers in Dr. Soetomo Hospital, etc.
- Educational Psychology
Students can work as an education consultant, guidance and counseling teachers in school, educative personnel/teacher, and trainer for students, teachers and parents. Graduates from the Faculty of Psychology in this area of interest are already working in Saint Marie Junior High School and Senior High School in Surabaya, Saint Louis Senior High School in Surabaya, YPPI Kindergarten Surabaya, Gloria Christian Senior High School in Surabaya, Pentatrust, etc.
- Developmental Psychology
Students can work in the same areas with other areas of interest, such as in the areas of educational psychology and clinical psychology.
