Keberadaannya dipergunakan secara luas untuk memberi kemudahan bagi manusia. Perkembangan dalam dunia elektronika diawali dengan penemuan listrik oleh Michael Faraday pada tahun 1791. Berkat Faraday pula, banyak ilmuwan lain setelahnya yang tertarik untuk mengembangkan elektronika. Elektronika berkembang sangat pesat, sampai &#8211; sampai saat ini manusia tidak bisa lepas dari barang &#8211; barang elektronika.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dalam bidang ilmu fisika, listrik serta pemanfaatannya dipelajari secara luas. Tidak terkecuali bagi mahasiswa Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Program Studi Pendidikan (FKIP PSP) Fisika Universitas Katolik Widya Mandala Surabaya (UKWMS). Dalam proses perkuliahan, mahasiswa PSP Fisika dibekali tentang pemahaman &#8211; pemahaman dasar mengenai kelistrikan, mengenal komponen &#8211; komponen dasar dalam kelistrikan, serta juga pemahaman akan rangkaian &#8211; rangkaian listrik sederhana. &#8220;Bekal yang sudah didapat di ruang kelas, tidaklah sempurna jika tidak diuji cobakan secara langsung,&#8221; ungkap Achmad Salehudin, salah satu mahasiswa PSP Fisika UKWMS.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Melihat hal tersebut, PSP Fisika mengadakan pelatihan bagi mahasiswa Fisika tentang Rangkaian Logika Sederhana. Harapan dari terselenggarakannya pelatihan ini adalah mahasiswa menjadi lebih mengenal komponen &#8211; komponen dasar yang sering dipakai dalam rangkaian listrik serta cara pemanfaatannya. Secara khusus mahasiswa mengenal lebih dalam mengenai pemanfaatan IC (<em>Integrated Circuit<\/em>) pada rangkaian elektronika. &#8220;Selain hal itu, dengan diadakannya pelatihan ini, mahasiswa diberi bekal lebih yang dapat mereka gunakan ketika mereka harus mengajar elektronika di sekolah &#8211; sekolah nantinya,&#8221; ujar Herwinarso selaku Ketua Jurusan PSP Fisika.
