Tujuan peringatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat akan bahayanya cedera regangan berulang. Diharapkan, dengan kesadaran akan hal ini, maka orang pun mau mempelajari bagaimana mencegahnya.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cedera regangan berulang adalah cedera yang terjadi akibat pengulangan gerakan yang sama berulang kali. Seperti yang sering terjadi pada pekerja yang melakukan gerakan yang sama berulang kali dalam waktu yang lama. Cedera ini dapat terjadi pada berbagai bagian tubuh, seperti tangan, pergelangan tangan, bahu, leher, punggung, dan kaki.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Penginisiasi peringatan ini adalah Catherine Fenech, seorang individu yang peduli akan keselamatan kerja di Kanada. Pertama kali diluncurkan tahun 2000, kini banyak organisasi dan lembaga yang mengadakan kampanye dan acara untuk memperingatinya.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Terdapat beberapa gejala cedera regangan berulang yang sering muncul. Antara lain rasa sakit, kelemahan, kesemutan, dan kaku pada bagian tubuh yang terkena.Demi kesehatan, penting untuk melakukan tindakan pencegahan dan mengenali gejala cedera regangan berulang.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beberapa tindakan pencegahan yang dapat dilakukan antara lain melakukan peregangan. Terutama sebelum dan setelah melakukan aktivitas yang melibatkan gerakan yang sama berulang kali. Bisa juga dengan menghindari posisi yang tidak nyaman, dan menggunakan alat bantu yang tepat.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jika menurutmu kesehatan itu penting dan berminat untuk menjadi tenaga kesehatan, pertimbangkan untuk mengambil program kuliah jurusan kesehatan. Tentunya, siapapun punya kesempatan untuk bergabung dengan <a href=\"https:\/\/ukwms.ac.id\/en\/campus\/fakultas-kedokteran\/\">Faculty of Medicine<\/a> ataupun <a href=\"https:\/\/ukwms.ac.id\/en\/campus\/fakultas-keperawatan\/\">Fakultas Keperawatan UKWMS<\/a> selama memenuhi syarat.
