Program yang dilaksanakan kurang lebih selama tiga minggu diikuti oleh belasan mahasiswa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pada Selasa (22\/7) lalu, para mahasiswa memasak olahan masakan Indonesia yaitu Soto Miramar dan Ayam Betutu di Laboratorium Teknologi Pengolahan Pangan (TPP) Kampus UKWMS Dinoyo. Memasak makanan Indonesia rupanya memiliki tantangan dan proses yang unik. Salah satunya disampaikan oleh Gaby Natalia Wirawan yang sudah beberapa hari mengikuti kursus ini.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cTantangan yang dihadapi itu kerja sama, karena kalau masakan itu beda tangan beda rasa. Ketika kita bekerja secara kelompok, kalau sudah jadi rasanya itu bisa jadi mencar-mencar,\u201d tutur Gaby yang hobi memasak. Para mahasiswa berkelompok 3-4 orang dalam membuat kedua hidangan ini.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Proses memasak pada ayam betutu biasanya tidak direbus, namun dalam pengolahan ini direbus. Sedangkan proses memasak Soto Miramar sedikit berbeda, karena terdapat campuran udang, bandeng, dan bahan lainnya. Sehingga rasa yang dihasilkan gurih, karena kuahnya yang kental.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Program ini mengundang narasumber yang ahli di bidangnya yaitu Zakaria Executive Chef dari Grand Mercure Surabaya Grand Mirama. Beliau menyampaikan bahwa program ini cukup membuatnya terkejut, lantaran umumnya kegiatan memasak untuk anak boga tetapi di kegiatan <em>cooking class<\/em>. Sedangkan kali ini diadakan untuk mahasiswa teknologi pertanian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAwalnya kaget, pertanian kok ada masaknya, ketika saya berkomunikasi dengan teman-teman mahasiswa ada satu mata kuliah yang mengharuskan masak dengan bahan bahan asli Indonesia. Peserta sangat antusias, padahal mereka bukan dari jurusan kuliner,\u201d tutur Zakaria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Zakaria memberikan apresiasi kepada para mahasiswa yang antusias semangat dan membuahkan hasil yang memuaskan. \u201cKalau di rating 1-100, rata-rata di 80 ada juga yang 90,\u201d pungkas Zakaria.
