About Us

The UKWMS Business Faculty was established on September 1, 1965 under the name of the Faculty of Economics with the Corporate Economics study program. The establishment of this faculty was motivated by the desire to participate in the implementation of higher education in economics and considering the prospects for industrial development which are increasing in Surabaya and East Java.

On September 1 2010, the Faculty of Economics was transformed into the Faculty of Business. The change from the Faculty of Economics to the Faculty of Business was stated in the Decision of the Management Board of the Widya Mandala Surabaya Foundation No. 091/YWMS/SK/VIII/2010. This change is to meet stakeholder expectations for business schools that are developing around the world.

Mission

Menghasilkan lulusan bisnis, manajemen, dan akuntansi yang mampu berdaya saing dalam lingkungan global berlandaskan nilai Katolik dan PeKA melalui kegiatan tri dharma perguruan tinggi yang berkualitas dan didukung dengan tata pamong dan tata kelola yang baik, dan aplikasi teknologi digital dan UMKM, serta sinergi dengan pemangku kepentingan secara berkelanjutan.

Journal

1.Research in Management and Accounting (RIMA)
e-ISSN: 2723-3804, is open access, peer reviewed journal, published by Faculty of Business Widya Mandala Surabaya Catholic University. RIMA receives rigorous articles and contains the original of research paper. It covers the results of newest research and focuses on the issue related to management and accounting. Therefore, RIMA accepts the articles from Indonesia authors and other countries. Accepted papers are in English only. We welcome other language articles, subject to translation cost prior to publication acceptance

2. PeKA
Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat is peer reviewed journal published by Faculty of Business Widya Mandala Surabaya Catholic University. PeKA: Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat receives rigorous articles and contains the original of research paper. It covers the results of newest research and focuses on the issue related to accounting and management. Therefore, PeKA: Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat accepts the articles from Indonesia authors and other countries. PeKA: Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat only accepts high-quality unpublished manuscripts with strict plagiarism screening.

3.Jurnal Ilmiah Mahasiswa Manajemen (JUMMA)
Jurnal Ilmiah Mahaiswa Manajemen is design to facilitate management Students to publish scientific paper in the field of Management science

4.Jurnal Ilmiah Mahasiswa Akuntansi (JIMA)
Jurnal Ilmiah Mahasiswa Akuntansi is design to facilitate Accounting Students to publish scientific paper in the field of accounting science

FB UKWMS has nine Study Programs (Prodi), namely the Bachelor of Accounting Study Program and the Bachelor of Management Study Program, both of which have "EXCELLENT" accreditation, as well as five Excellence Programs namely the International Business Management (IBM) Program, Digital Accounting Program, Accounting and Taxation Program, Digital Business Management (DBM) Program, and Service and Event Management Program. FB UKWMS also has Postgraduate Study Programs namely Masters in Management, Masters in Accounting, and Doctor of Management Science and Vocational Study Programs namely D3 Office Administration and D3 Accounting. Since 2019, FB UKWMS has had two Study Programs outside the Main Campus (PSDKU) located in Madiun City, namely the Bachelor of Accounting and Management Study Programs.

Keseluruhan Program pada Fakultas Bisnis didukung dengan implementasi program Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM), kurikulum berbasis luaran (Outcome based Curriculum) dan KKNI, Titanium Program untuk S1 dan S2, serta program-program internasional yang dilakukan dengan membangun kerja sama dengan institusi Luar Negeri seperti program Double Degree, Joint Degree, student exchange, dan lainnya. FB UKWMS siap untuk mengantarkan generasi muda dalam menggapai mimpi sebagai future business leader di kancah internasional.

About

UKWMS is a university that received Accreditation A from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education and is known as one of 50 Promising Indonesian Universities by the Directorate General of Higher Education. UKWMS has received the Superior Campus Award consecutively from 2010 to 2018. UKWMS is also the only university in East Java to win the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) Award in 2018.
