About Us

The Faculty of Entrepreneurship was established based on the Decree of the Board of Management of the Widya Mandala Surabaya Foundation number 177/YWMS/SK/XII/2016 dated December 21, 2016. Currently the Faculty of Entrepreneurship manages one study program, namely the Entrepreneurship Study Program. Based on the Decree of the Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia number 433/KPT/I/2016 dated October 3 2016 granted permission to open the Entrepreneurship Study Program Undergraduate Program at Widya Mandala Catholic University Surabaya. The Entrepreneurship Study Program began accepting new students for the first time in the 2017-2018 odd semester.

Menjadi Fakultas Kewirausahaan terkemuka dalam skala global pada tahun 2035 dengan mengembangkan inovasi teknologi kreatif dan ilmu pengetahuan terintegrasi dalam bidang kewirausahaan yang berdampak positif bagi masyarakat dalam memecahkan persoalan bisnis dan kemasyarakatan dengan berlandaskan nilai-nilai Pancasila dan prinsip-prinsip Katolik.

Mission

Menyelenggarakan tata kelola pendidikan dan pengajaran untuk menghasilkan lulusan dengan kemampuan berpikir kreatif, inovatif, mandiri, dan berperilaku etis.
Melaksanakan penelitian dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang berkontribusi dalam memecahkan persoalan bisnis dan kemasyarakatan.
Membangun kemitraan untuk mengembangkan ilmu kewirausahaan.

In line with the institutional values that are believed by the UKWMS academic community, the Faculty of Entrepreneurship strives to be able to make a real contribution, not just a reduction in the process of developing creative technological innovations and integrated science and technology in the field of entrepreneurship. This vision is expected to be able to provide positive outcomes to solve problems in the business sector and society on a global scale.
In the teaching and learning process, thought and feeling are the focus of the Faculty of Entrepreneurship based on three stages: (1) strengthening entrepreneurial character and mindset, (2) knowledge of business governance, and (3) skills in creating and running a business. Fulfillment of entrepreneurial formation begins with guiding students to create business projects in five selected industries: (1) Health-preneur, (2) Edu-preneur, (3) Techno-preneur, (4) Fashion & Innovation, and (5) Culinary Art. The student-centered learning process (SCL), the practice of making products, and the legality of businesses are carried out during lectures and can later become the provision for independent young entrepreneurs who are ready to welcome Indonesia Gold.

About

UKWMS is a university that received Accreditation A from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education and is known as one of 50 Promising Indonesian Universities by the Directorate General of Higher Education. UKWMS has received the Superior Campus Award consecutively from 2010 to 2018. UKWMS is also the only university in East Java to win the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) Award in 2018.
