About Us

The Faculty of Nursing has been operating since September 6 2006 with the Decree of the Director General of Higher Education Ministry of National Education No. 3365/D/T/2006 dated 04 September 2006. In February 2016 the Nursing Study Program and the Nurse Professional Study Program were accredited by the Independent Accreditation Institute for Health Higher Education (LAM-PTKes). The results that have been obtained are as follows: The Nursing Study Program is accredited with a rating of B (Good) based on SK LAM-PTKes No. 0425/LAM-PTKes/Akr/Sar/III/2016, while the Professional Nurse Study Program is accredited with a B (Good) rating based on SK LAM-PTKes No. 0426/LAM¬ PTKes/Akr/Pro/11I/2016. Based on the Decree of the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education No. 1356/KPT/I/2018 there has been a change in the name of the Study Program to become the Undergraduate Nursing Study Program and Nursing Professional Education Study Program Professional Program. In 2020 the Faculty of Nursing has applied for re-accreditation and has obtained the following accreditation results, the Nursing Study Program is accredited Very Good with SK LAM PT-Kes No. 0032/LAM-PTKes/Akr/Sar/II/2021, while the Nurse Professional Education Study Program is also accredited Very Good with SK LAM PT-Kes No. 0033/LAM-PTKes/Akr/Pro/II/2021. The two decisions are dated February 26 2021 and have a validity period of 5 years until February 25 2026. In 2022 the Faculty of Nursing has been operating for 16 years.

Vision
The formation of graduates who are innovative, creative, competitive and reflective, who have a positive impact on society in the global era, in the development of comprehensive nursing knowledge and services, especially in palliative nursing based on compassionate services, in the 2017-2027 period.

Mission

Developing nursing education, research and community service, which is oriented towards comprehensive nursing services, especially palliative nursing on an ongoing basis.
Developing a nursing faculty management system to achieve internal and external quality standards.
Develop a network of cooperation with national and international institutions in education, research and community service.

A pioneer of modern Nursing was Florence Nightingale, born in 1820 in England and died at the age of 90. She is known as "The Lady With The Lamp" because while on duty in the war zone in Turkey, she treated injured soldiers in the barracks by carrying a LENTER as a lighting device. Florence saw that the conditions for care, treatment, nutrition and sanitation were far from satisfactory. This exacerbated the suffering of the soldiers. He was then moved to improve the situation by, among other things, improving and growing the maintenance system, data recording and statistics. With LENTERA he saw, thought, and had the knowledge to develop qualified nursing knowledge. With LENTERA, a nurse illuminates her heart's eyes to care and share with those who are cared for. LENTERA light is a holistic symbol of hope and assistance to those in need

Hi Wimates, Welcome to the Faculty of Nursing!

This method supports student success in passing the national competency test. It is also supported by an additional curriculum to answer the growing needs of science and technology, namely through learning about health information systems. In addition, the provision to become a nursepreneur is also given so that graduates have wider job opportunities in the community. Another big challenge in this global era is the ability to communicate in international languages.
